Biography
Dr Manish Mehta, MD, MPH, FACS graduated from SUNY at Stonybrook with a B.S. degree in Biochemistry, completed his M.D. and Masters in Public Health from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. Dr. Mehta went on to complete his surgery residency at North Shore University Hospital at NYU School of Medicine and his Vascular Fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Dr Mehta is a Professor of Surgery & the Endowed Chair of Vascular Education at Albany Medical College, Founder and Director of Vascular International Academy, and is the President and CEO of the Center for Vascular Awareness, a not-for-profit organization founded in 2004 and dedicated to increasing the level education and awareness of Vascular Disease.
Dr Mehta has participated in countless research studies, and has been the principal investigator for nearly 50 national and international research studies. He has over 150 vascular publications and book chapters, has presented at hundreds of US and international vascular societies and meetings, and has served on dozens of Medical Advisory and Editorial Boards.
