AndraTec was established at the beginning of 2013 by a multinational team of dedicated professionals.
Dipl. Ing. Gunter Kohl, Dijana Mahmic (BA International Relations) and CEO Andreas Kohl with a long history in the international medical device field. At a later stage in 2015 Dr. med Dipl. Ing. Malte Neuss joined the team as partner and someone who implemented his patents in the company. The most famous ones are the Exeter Snare and the Optimus Stent patents.
The company main focus is the development and distribution of highly innovative minimally invasive devices with special dedication towards the interventional cardiovascular field.
Within a short period of time AndraTec managed to get significant market share in the majority of the worldwide markets.
The specific dedication of AndraTec towards new interventional highly innovative technologies is the main driver in this company and will lead to new product developments to treat patients more efficiently.
